Acts 43
Awe: a feeling of reveretial respect mixed with fear or wonder. Growing up in the chruch I have always heard this word. but I have failed to put it into practice. I have never sat in full 'awe' of the Lord. I have wondered about and respected Him as my father but I have not had the fear of the Lord.
I know it is a pride issue that tells me I shouldnt be afraid because God has grace, but He is also the Judge. I know God uses fallen humans to glorify and do His will. Thankfully I know and in this verse it shows that after they prayed and were filled with awe, the appostles preformed miricales. Miricals are a sign that point to Jesus. They arnt for us to believe when we have unbeliefe, but like that Holy Spirit the perpose of miricals is to glorify God.
Application: Today I want to sit in full awe of God, so that my actions reflect and glorify God.
