John 8:32

"And you know the truth and the truth will set you free!"

The first think I thought of was James 4:7 "humble yourselves before the Lord. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." Unelss you seek God first and call on Him and His word you wont be alble to stand against the devil. You have to know the truth and rely on it when being tempted!

The belt of truth... I used to wonder why each part of the armor had an exact name and place. But it was explained to me once that the belt holds your armor together. Truth has to be what holds everything together!  Without truth we can never stand against the battle being fought. Jesus is the way, the TRUTH, and the life. When he was tempted He pulled truth out of the bible to keep Him free.

Sin truly is a bondagem it will hold us back and tie us down. But the truth in Jesus is waht breaks us out of our bondage and frees us. The truth will set you free, also being able to hold on to truth and our savior we will not be taken by the chains of death. Truth gives us eturnal life if we believe and do what Jesus has called us to do.

Truth.... Gods word. Truth, Jesus Christ. Gods word hidden in our hearts to resist the Devil, and jesus crhist our savior who stil constently thought the spirit comforts, convicts and points us to christ.

Today I will continue to pray for those who dont understand the truth that their eyes would be open and they would be set free.
